For more than 150 years this prestigious Cannes jeweller has cultivated an elegant creativity. A history hallmarked by connections with the best brands and by enhancing precious gemstones with knowhow encompassing tradition and innovation.
Since 1862, when Louis Julian's great-grandfather set up his first jewellery store in Cannes, the passion for fine craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation.
In 1964, Louis Julian invited his daughter Martine to join him. With her sights set on excellence, Martine developed the jewellery business and, with the support of her husband Jean-Pierre Venou from 1985, turned the company, which had been located at 71 rue d'Antibes since 1937, into one of the most prestigious names in watchmaking and jewellery on the Côte d'Azur.
Martine then calls her son Frédéric Venou-Julian, the 6th generation of this illustrious family, to her side.
At the helm for more than a decade, he has remained faithful to the daring spirit of the Louis Julian House, with a constant desire for perfection and meticulous mastery of craftsmanship. These are fundamental qualities shared with his wife Vanessa, and passed on with fervour to the 7th generation.
And so, for over 160 years, the House of Louis Julian has cultivated, between tradition and modernity, the beautiful spirit of elegance, luxury and creativity for which it is renowned.
Each generation has preserved the family heritage by bringing a human, emotional and authentic dimension to its craft, and carries with it the rich history and passion of a family strongly attached to its heritage and rare skills.
